2021 Meadowlands Fair August 20-22!

FIREWORKS ANNOUCEMENT
With input from the fire department, DNR, and fireworks company we have made the decision to postpone Friday night’s fireworks show due to the extremely dry conditions in our city and the predicted winds for Friday night. Our priority is the safety of the people and property in Meadowlands and we will not take any risk when it comes to our community. Our region has seen 3 wildfires just this week and feel a fireworks display at this time would be irresponsible. All donations will roll over to a rescheduled date or to next year’s fair. The fireworks banners in the memory and honor of those donated for will still be on display all weekend during the fair. All donations made in memory and honor of people this year will carry over to the 2022 show as well. We appreciate the immense support we’ve received this year for the fireworks. As much as it saddens us to postpone this fun kick-off to our fair we want to make sure our community is safe.
We also want to thank the local fire departments that were willing to prepare and monitor the launch area for several hours tomorrow, we appreciate your support for this event and our communities and only wish the weather would cooperate.
We have a really fun weekend planned along with cooler weather on Saturday and Sunday and look forward to seeing everyone at the fair. The Karaoke Contest will go on as planned at 9:30PM on Friday night.
