The Meadowlands Fair offers a weekend full of fun activities and events.

THROUGH THE WEEKEND

Bingo Stand Open
Saturday and Sunday Noon – 4pm
Feeling lucky?  Pull up a seat in the park and play BINGO!

Entertainment
A variety of music can be enjoyed throughout the weekend!

FRIDAY

Bar Bingo
6-8PM at the Trailside
Play different BINGO games with a chance to win big pots!

Fireworks on Friday Night!
Starting at dark (approximately 9PM, exact time will be announced soon).

Adult Kick Ball Tournament
This annual tournament pits families and friends against each others in a competitive battle of the kickball.  They’ll all be sore tomorrow – but you can cheer them on Friday and Saturday during the Meadowlands Fair.

 


SATURDAY

River to River Run/Walk
Race starts at 8:30
Start the weekend with a run (or walk) during the Meadowlands Fair.  The River to River Run/Walk is a 5K race that takes you through town between the Whiteface and St. Louis Rivers on Saturday morning.  Prizes for winners, t-shirts and treats for all!

Kids fun run after the 5k. This event us free, but please register so they can be prepared.  Click here to register.

BIG Button Hunt!
First clue posted at the Community Center at 10am
The BIG Button Hunt is back with a $100 prize!  Follow our clues around town, be the first to find our giant fair button and win!

Teen Scavenger Hunt
Starts at 11AM
A fun photo scavenger hunt for kids 13-19 years old!  Get the list on Saturday at the community center, find the items and take pics of them with your device, bring back all the photos first and WIN!  Pick up list at the Button Table in the community center on Saturday after 11AM.  Be the first to return the list to the Fair President with all the items found and win $25!  2nd place wins $15 and 3rd place wins $10!  Prize provided by sponsor Living Well Therapy – Floodwood!

 

Family Feud LIVE!
Noon at the stage
Teams go head to head to see if they know what the “Survey Says” !  Winning team takes home $100 provided by LJ’s Auto in Floodwood!

LEGO Car Races in the basketball court.  Make a LEGO car and race it for a chance to win!

Kid Games in the Park
1PM – 3PM
Bring the kids to the Meadowlands Park for an afternoon of fun and games on Saturday!  Most of the games are FREE and fun for any age.  Starting at Noon!


Meadowlands Fire Department Bean Bag Tournament
4PM
Throw bags for a good cause – the Meadowlands Fire Department!  Saturday Afternoon at the Trailside! $10 per person ($20/team) Starts at 4PM!

Street Dance at the Trailside
The perfect way to unwind on a summer night with some live music at Meadowland’s own Trailside Lounge and Grill.   The cover change is $5.

NEW!  Adult Lip Sync – during the Street Dance!
We’re changing things up this year by adding an Adult Lip Sync contest to the Saturday Street Dance instead of a Karaoke Contest.  Prizes for best individual and best group! Dancing, props, and costumes highly encouraged.  Let’s have some fun!  Learn more and register online, click here.


SUNDAY

Worship in the Park featuring Casey Aro
10AM
First Lutheran Church moves their Sunday service outdoors to the Meadowlands Park for fair weekend.  Enjoy God’s country while you worship. Service starts at 10AM

Kid Parade
MOVED TO SUNDAY!
This year the kid parade will “open” for the big parade!  Kids should line up at the Victory Coffee House on main street.  We will walk down to the end of the road (by the water tower) and then will walk back – kids can find their parents during the return trip.
Kids – bring your bikes, dress up and cruise around the park in a parade just for you!  The parade will be led by the top boy and girl button sellers!

Parade
The Meadowlands Parade brings young and old to the streets of Meadowlands.  See groups, businesses, animals, tractors, fire trucks and more! Kids, bring a bag for candy! It’s FREE to enter!  Click here to register.

Lahti Farm Celebrating  – $100 coin dig!
12:30pm (or after the parade if it goes long)
After the parade head to the park to hunt for treasure in hay! Kids can dig for coins, starting with the youngest age group at about 12:30pm

Youth Pedal Tractor Pull
Registration starts at 12:30PM, Pulls start at 1PM
Sponsored by the Toivola-Meadowlands Development Board – Sunday at 1:00PM

Kids Lip Sync Contest!
2:30PM
Win back to school cash just by moving your mouth! Sunday at the Trailside Stage 2:30PM Register in advance to make sure we have your song.  Dancing, props, costumes are encouraged!  Learn more and register online, click here.
